Presenting at Oracle AI World 2026: Building and Innovating with Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse

I am excited to share that I will be presenting at Oracle AI World 2026 in Las Vegas, joining Oracle Product Management and Engineering leaders for an interactive Product Bootcamp focused on Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse.

The session will explore how organizations can build open, scalable, and AI-ready data platforms using Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse, Apache Iceberg, and modern data integration capabilities.

Why Autonomous AI Lakehouse Matters

Enterprise data is increasingly distributed across multiple cloud platforms. Transactional systems may run on Oracle Database in OCI, engagement data may reside in Amazon S3, operational datasets may be stored in Azure, and analytical data products may be managed through Snowflake or Databricks.

Bringing these datasets together traditionally involves complex ETL pipelines, data duplication, and separate metadata management practices.

Open table formats such as Apache Iceberg are helping organizations address these challenges by enabling multiple analytical engines to access data using standardized table metadata and open storage formats.

Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse brings Oracle's analytical capabilities to this open data architecture, helping organizations query lakehouse data and build AI-ready analytical solutions while reducing unnecessary data movement.

What We Will Explore in the Bootcamp

This is an interactive session with guided exercises covering important Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse capabilities.

The session includes:

  • Apache Iceberg: Querying Iceberg tables using Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse.

  • Natural Language Analytics: Exploring how users can interact with enterprise data using natural language queries.

  • Catalog Integration: Understanding how external data catalogs and open metadata standards support lakehouse interoperability.

  • AI Workload Scaling: Exploring approaches to scaling AI and analytical workloads.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops to participate in the hands-on exercises.

My Contribution: Catalog of Catalogs and Multicloud Lakehouse Interoperability

As part of the session, I will share practical implementation experience around the Catalog of Catalogs architecture and Apache Iceberg interoperability across cloud platforms.

In our earlier proof of concept, we explored a customer requirement involving Apache Iceberg tables stored in Amazon S3 and managed through AWS Glue Data Catalog.

We successfully tested accessing these Iceberg tables from Oracle Autonomous Database, demonstrating how Oracle can query externally managed lakehouse data using SQL without first copying the underlying dataset into Oracle tables.

An important extension of this use case is the reverse architecture, where Oracle serves as the catalog owner and external engines such as Apache Spark or Amazon EMR consume Iceberg tables through a standardized catalog interface.

This architectural pattern introduces several important enterprise considerations, including catalog interoperability, centralized metadata management, access control, authentication, auditability, and governance across cloud platforms.

I look forward to discussing these practical lessons and how evolving Oracle AI Lakehouse capabilities can help enterprises build more flexible and governed multicloud data architectures.

Looking Forward to Oracle AI World 2026

I am delighted to have the opportunity to present alongside Oracle's Product Management and Engineering leaders.

Oracle AI World provides an opportunity to exchange ideas with product teams, architects, developers, and customers working on modern data and AI platforms.

I look forward to sharing our implementation experience, learning from the Oracle team, and engaging with the broader Oracle community.

If you are attending Oracle AI World 2026, I hope you can join us for this interactive session.
